first, in news, the new blog is right here on blogger, and i believe you can maneuver your way there, if you feel inclined.

in other news, thoroughly annoyed right now. gotta love when people talk shit about other people on the internet, in specific enough terms that it's obvious. how god damned childish.

that's all i have to say on that- cuz i'm not going to condescend to such levels.

also in these weeks developments, i'm trying to record 3 songs before the end of the year. i'm just so picky about my lyrics after 18 years of writing them that i'm insisting on writing 3 new tracks, and being super superfluous in the whole process. one is nearly done, though, and with this fit of annoyed energy, i think i'm going to go bang out number two.

i haven't been on here in years... i originally logged in to scrap everything on here, and start over... but i think i'm going to go wordpress on the new blog idea and keep this one... mostly because, that rant on friendship is still epic.

for update purposes, i'm still working on the book. it's slow and painful and arduous as fuck, but i'm progressively making headway. mostly just blocked because it's time for a MAJOR edit, and i haven't been able to decide what i'm okay with cutting yet. well, i think i know the answer now... but it hurts my heart a little to do it that way. no doubt, i'll find a solution.

i have entirely too many social networks and such to keep up with, so safe to say it'll be a while before i post on here again. maybe i'll have something legitimately new to report the next time.

my mood = horrible.

just a short rant about some people who shall remain unnamed, mostly cuz im not enough of an asshole to full force rip someone apart on the internet. well, i probably am enough of an asshole, but learning restraint is something im currently working on. let's start with... it's not nice to mislead people because youre bored. get a hobby. im sorry that your life is not entertaining enough for you, but that's of your own making. yes, im fabulous and if im paying attention to you at all you should consider yourself lucky... but im not here for your amusement. i have better things to do, and if youre going to be an idiot then i dont have time for you. sorry, just fact.

on another note, let's discuss the word 'friend'. i hear someone misuse this word every single day and it's beginning to annoy me. after browsing through urban dictionary's definition of friend (well, the first page) this is my favorite:
"A person who would never intentionally hurt you, lie to you, deceive you, manipulate you, abuse you and who takes great care to be kind to you, honest with you, dependable and loyal. Someone who you trust without question because they have never given you any reason not to trust them. Someone you enjoy being around and look forward to seeing."
Let's start with trust, as everything should. Would you let half of your "friends" borrow your car? No, because theyre irresponsible douchebags. Stop calling them your friend. The friend who waits weeks to inform you of major decisions theyve made? Not your friend, they didnt trust you with information... they dont trust you in general. TRUST IS EVERYTHING, people. i trust very few people and if youre smart you'll do the same. the first sentence of that definition is awesome. Run anyone you consider a "friend" down that list of do's and dont's and you'll find several that dont fit. Are you noticing a pattern with your "friends"? So by now hopefully youve realized maybe youre being a real friend to someone, who is definitely not your friend. Now is the time to pull the reins back on that waste of your time, effort, and caring. If you're a bit geeky, feel free to multiply the average time you spend investing in that friendship into how much time you waste per year, it might give you a new perspective. so what are these people, if not friends? theyre called acquaintances. It's just horrible vocabulary to call someone a "friend" that you dont value as a friend. I mean, still call them your friend to their face, cuz it would be mean not to. JUST KIDDING. Please be honest. Youre lying to them and yourself but falsifying a bond. Oh, and something that super annoys me... the person you met a week and a half ago? Stop calling them your best friend. I'm sorry that you have limited human interaction or whatever, but just cuz you click with someone consistently for a minute doesnt mean they are going to hang around and be relevant to your life. This is like friendship lust... get past the hot new fun part, and get into the love portion before you start tossing around major titles.

I was going to get into something about the phrase "just friends", but ill save that for another day. im too excited to spill the news.

if you know me (or of me, lmao)... you might have initially wondered whyyyy on earth i would be blogging. letting all of you nosy motherfuckers in on my life. and really, ill tell you why. I AM WRITING A BOOK. and i have this crazy idea that this will be a good way to keep me writing and thinking when im stuck on passages. to all of you naysayers that think i will never accomplish this, put your fears to rest. i am 10k words in already, and im planning a slight break from my "friends" to get some work done on it. ive been writing since i was 8 years old and im tired of pretending i shouldnt be doing it all the time. so really im kind of hoping you'll start reading here and start to be curious about what else i have to say. and if you like my opinion on fact, imagine what i do with fiction. im currently undecided to what degree im willing to leak info about the book. like, ill most def let you guys see the cover... so you know what youre looking for when you want your copy :) to you lucky few that get to proofread, be excited... cuz i absolutely am. so anyway, there's your answer.

alright kids, time for me to get some work done. you should probably do the same... maybe send a few "let's be just acquaintances" texts or something.
